Matthew Stich, M.D.

Attended the Medical College of Virginia and was then accepted into the United States Air Force Medical Corps. and started his training in General Surgery & Trauma Surgery at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Regional Medical Center and the Air Force Regional Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. In 1986, Dr. Stich continued his training in Emergency Room Medicine in Los Angeles, California and Vandenberg Air Force Base, in Santa Barbara County, California. While at Vandenberg Air Force Base, he worked as the Shuttle Flight Control Physician for the Air Force Space Shuttle Command Center. After leaving the Air Force, he continued working in California in Emergency Medicine and Industrial Medicine.

In 1989, Dr. Stich was accepted into Ophthalmology Residency Program at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, which included medical and surgical training from the Resident Staff from The Wilmer Eye Institute at The Johns Hopkins Medical Center. While there, he was the first resident in training to be trained to perform the advanced phaco-emulsification or no-stitch cataract surgery, with the best surgical results ever achieved by any resident physician in training.

Margaret Johnston, O.D.

Dr. Margaret Johnston is originally from New Jersey, but has lived in the Northern Virginia area for many years. She holds an undergraduate and M.A. degree from the Catholic University of America and formerly taught high school level French in Alexandria, Virginia. In 1982, Dr. Johnston obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and has been in optometric practice ever since. She previously had her own practice in Springfield, VA for many years, but now enjoys practicing part time. This allows her to engage in another passion: She has authored the award-winning book: "Faith Beyond Belief" (www.faithbeyondbeliefbook.com) and is hard at work on a second book. Dr. Johnston is the mother of two grown son and lives with her husband in McLean, Virginia.

Alison Sinyai, O.D.

For over ten years, Dr. Alison Sinyai has been helping patients across Northern Virginia with their vision care needs. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry and is a proud member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association.
